Webinars - Use of On-Line GPC/NMR as a Tool in the Understanding of Complex Synthetic Polymer Formulations
Date: June 10, 2009
This presentation will concentrate on the principles behind the idea of on-line GPC/NMR being an important tool in complex mixture analysis, particularly where the 1D NMR spectra contain a degree of spectral overlap between components. There will be some description of the experimental set up but the main body of the presentation will contain real examples of the use of this technique in industry. Examples of the types of chemistries involved are surfactants, lubricants, epoxy formulations and siloxanes. The final part of the presentation will briefly describe some of the other techniques used in Intertek-MSG in the deformulation of competitive materials and the information that can be obtained.
Presenter: Duncan Robertson, Intertek Measurement Science Group
All webinars will be presented in Eastern time unless otherwise noted.
SPE is excited to offer you the opportunity to register for an e-Live™ webinar and invite your co-workers to learn with you for the same price! For only $99 ($150 for non-members), you can participate in an SPE webinar along with your colleagues in an office or conference room.
